· Protects the waterproofing against any damage, form a stable evaporation chamber due to the high compressive strength gets by the geometrical star shape of the dimples.
· Is a stable and liable drainage composite.
· The sheets are easy to transport and apply, without using specialised equipment.
· Easy to adapt to a different supports, esay to cut just with a cutter.
· The lapping are easy to make.
· High durability.
· Root and fungi resistant.
· Do not pollute aquifers environment.
· Protecting the waterproofing membrane in basements and underground walls.
· It creates an air gap between soil and Wall and hinders moisture penetration.
· SUPPORT: must be a dry, firm, regular, clean surface, free of loose material.
· APPLICATION ON WALLS:
· Prior to the installation of the DRENTEX PROTECT the wall should be protected with a bituminous emulsion as EMUFAL TE (ground with low presence of water) or waterproof with a self-adhesive bituminous membrane TEXSELF or MORTERPLAS torch applied membrane (ground with medium or high presence of water). It drains but is not a waterproofing sheet.
· Extends the membrane with dimples to the waterproofed wall.
· Overlap the rolls DRENTEX PROTECT about 20 cm. For added protection in the overlapping applied bituminous adhesive bands type TEXSELF BAND.
· Rolls can be installed horizontal or vertical way:
- Horizontal application: Start from the bottom to the top. As DRENTEX PROTEC is installed, fill the surroundings with the soil.
- Vertical application: Do the overlapping in opposite direction of the runoff, in order to reduce the leaking behind the sheet.
· Finally, fill the surroundings with the soil and compact by tongs 30 cm deep approx. to keep a proper drainage, taking care not to drag the membrane.
· On the top the sheet must be mechanically fixed by a profile like DRENTEX PROFILE or single fixations. The profile DRENTEX PROFILE avoids contamination on the chamber created by the DRENTEX PROTECT.
· Horizontal laps between sheets are formed by placing the upper sheet covering the above and fixing along the line of overlap every 25 cm, avoiding soil or debris entry, when medium or high level of humidity it is advisable to use self – adhesive fixations or double-side adhesive band TEXSELF FV 2C to avoid puncturing
the waterproofing.
· APPLICATION ON CONCRETE SLABS:
· Extend a layer of polypropilene geotextile as TEXXAM over the compacted soil and overlap 20 cm.
· Unroll the DRENTEX PROTECT sheet overlapped , place the reinforcing wire mesh over support chairs ordobies to pour the concrete.
· SGS Quality Management System according to ISO:9001
